Goodbye Year 6

As we came to the end of another fantastic school year it was time for us to say goodbye to our Year 6 children.

On the last day of term parents, grandparents, carers and friends of Year 6 joined staff and the rest of the school for the final leaver’s assembly in church. It was an opportunity to say thank you to Year 6 for all their hard work.

The yearly awards presented to the children were the - Character Cup, ARMS Cup, Writers, Maths, Music, Music, Cricket, Creativity Cup, Athletics and Football.

This was followed by each child receiving a contribution award, their Record of Achievement – displaying samples of work they had completed throughout their time at school and a Bible which they have had in school since Year 2.

Our head boy/girl and deputy head boy/girl received a keepsake plaque to say thank you for all their hard work.

We would like to thank the PHA who presented the children with a Spanish or French dictionary, depending on which high school they will be attending.

To bring our service to a close Year 6 sang 'A Thousand Years' for one last time and as school left church Alfie played 'Don't stop me now'.

We would like to thank all of our children in Year 6 for their exceptional contributions to our school. They have made everyone so proud and we will miss them all immensely. We would like to wish them luck and happiness on the next stage of their journey.
